Aion 2 is getting ready for its global release with three optional Founder’s Packs designed for players who want Early Access and additional launch rewards. Since the MMORPG will be free to play, purchasing one is not necessary to enjoy the game. Still, players planning their launch spending may want to consider how much they want to spend on the Founder package before deciding whether to buy Aion 2 Kinah later for their progression.
Early Access Starts Before Launch
All three Founder’s Pack tiers provide five days of Early Access beginning September 30, 2026. The global launch follows on October 5, 2026, so every Founder buyer receives the same early start regardless of the edition selected.
The biggest difference between the packages is therefore not access time. Instead, each higher tier adds more cosmetic and collectible rewards. Following player feedback, NCSoft also added a 30-day premium membership subscription to all three versions, giving every Founder’s Pack a similar group of core benefits.
Standard Edition At A Glance
The Standard Edition costs $24.99 and provides the simplest entry into the Founder program. It includes five days of Early Access, the 30-day premium membership, the “Vanguard of Atreia” in-game title, and a Daeva’s Campaign Supply Chest.
It does not include the special armor, weapon, mount, or pet cosmetics found in the more expensive packages. For players primarily interested in entering Aion 2 before the official launch, the Standard Edition keeps the purchase focused on the basic benefits.
Deluxe Edition Adds Style
Priced at $49.99, the Deluxe Edition includes everything offered by the Standard tier while adding several cosmetic rewards. Players receive the same Early Access period, membership subscription, title, and supply chest.
The extra rewards include the “Ascended Daeva” armor skin and “Eternal Sun” weapon skins. These additions are aimed at players who want more visual customization for their characters and equipment without moving to the most expensive Founder package.
The Deluxe tier is consequently more focused on appearance than additional gameplay access, since its Early Access period remains identical to the Standard Edition.
Ultimate Edition Has The Largest Bundle
The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 and contains the most extensive collection of Founder rewards. It includes the benefits from the Deluxe package, along with a Styling Chest, “Moonlit Aria” armor skin, “Black Dragon” pet, and “Blazing Sun” wings.
The Ultimate package still provides only five days of Early Access, just like the other editions. Its higher price instead reflects the additional cosmetic and collectible content. Players interested in gathering more exclusive-looking items may therefore find the expanded reward list more relevant than players focused only on starting early.
Keep The Platform Restriction In Mind
One of the most important details is the platform lock. Founder’s Packs are connected to the launcher through which they are purchased. For example, a pack purchased on Steam must be used for Early Access through Steam.
There is also no upgrade system between Founder tiers. Each account can make only one purchase, meaning players cannot buy the Standard Edition first and later pay the difference to move to Deluxe or Ultimate. Checking the package contents and intended platform before completing the purchase can prevent an unwanted choice.
What The Packs Are Designed Around
The available information places the emphasis on Early Access, membership, supplies, cosmetics, and convenience rather than direct end-game power. Community impressions have similarly described the rewards as being largely focused on appearance and early-game benefits rather than raw combat strength.
This distinction is useful because Aion 2 remains free to play. Players who do not care about starting five days early or collecting Founder cosmetics can simply wait until October 5. Those who value the earlier start can select an edition based on its included rewards.
Planning Your Launch Spending
The three packages offer a clear progression in price and content. Standard provides the essential Founder benefits, Deluxe introduces additional armor and weapon cosmetics, and Ultimate expands the collection with more styling rewards, a pet, and wings. All three share the same Early Access date and 30-day membership.
Because purchases cannot be upgraded later and remain connected to the selected platform, reviewing the details beforehand is especially important. After launch, players can then manage their progression and decide whether cheap Aion 2 Kinah is useful for their approach to the game economy.
