"The importance and use of Madden 24 coins Films have just exploded," Dryer said. "It's an enormous win for the players."

Money from Madden NFL 24 Films and the Madden NFL 24 Network goes into the league's national income stream. This is then split between teams and shared with players under the collective bargaining agreement.

"The Madden NFL 24 creates a library of films to market their product," he said. "Within the framework can be found thousands of player that have rights as individuals."

Dryer isn't going to speculate on the value to Madden NFL 24 Films and how much revenue it generated. The growing popularity and the profits for the team and its league suggests to him that the photos of former players' likenesses are worth more than what they currently receive -- which is nothing but more than they would receive through an agreement that was proposed by the league in the coming year.

In the Madden NFL 24 announced a settlement in the spring of 2013 that would transfer $50 million minus an estimated $8 million in legal costs and taxes, into a fund to support retired players. Settlement money would be distributed over a period of 8 years. It will go to charities that provide support to initiatives for retired players. It would also create an agency for licensing retired players to ideally, create additional revenue for the fund.

What's the solution? Sending cash directly from former players or Dryer

A few prominent former players have spoken out to support the settlement and include Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown. Jim Brown is the Hall of Fame running back is a member of a retired board of players that will be charged to allocate funds from the settlement.

A court of federal appeals in Minnesota accepted the settlement offer plus more than 20.000 former players will are given until Aug. 30 to sign the settlement or opt out of the deal. Dryer is telling his colleagues not to sign the agreement.

"They're putting you into a business model with the league to bring in money for former participants," Dryer explained. "But those models have proven to be dry wells."

The plaintiffs also have a problem with what they believe to be a lack of transparency in the settlement as well as how it would work.

"We do not know how they could have come to come up with cheap mut 24 coins the $50 million figure," Dryer said. "The money goes into funds, the fund grants it existing charities and the charity amazingly, is able to transfer the money to players. I am not interested in being in a company I'm not sure about.
