Diablo 4 Season 10: Why Choose the Druid Class

As Diablo 4 Season 10 approaches, I once again find myself facing the same age-old dilemma: which class will I commit to for the grind ahead? While rumors and Diablo 4 Items leaks around the long-anticipated Paladin class have sparked plenty of excitement for the next expansion, that option isn't on the table just yet. For now, I'll need to choose from the six existing Diablo 4 classes.

After nearly ten seasons of Sanctuary's seasonal chaos, I've cycled through almost every class-Barbarian, Sorcerer, Necromancer, Rogue, and most recently, Spiritborn. But one class has consistently eluded me: the Druid. For reasons I can't fully explain, the Druid has become my "white whale" in Diablo 4, a class I've dabbled in but never fully explored. And now, with Season 10 on the horizon, that choice is becoming harder and harder to ignore.

Why the Druid Has Always Escaped Me

The Druid is far from an unappealing archetype. In fact, shapeshifters and nature-based casters are some of my favorite fantasy roles across RPGs. But in Diablo 4, my timing with the Druid has always been off.

When the game launched, I was too invested in the sheer destructive power of Sorcerers and Barbarians to give Druids a fair shake. In later seasons, while Druids received incremental buffs and exciting new Diablo 4 Items, other classes were stealing the spotlight with flashier builds and better farming efficiency.

My only real attempt at playing a Druid came early on, and it didn't leave much of an impression-partially because balance at the time left the class feeling clunky. I moved on, promising myself that I would return to the Druid "one day."

Now, with Season 10's changes, that "one day" has finally arrived.

Season 10 Makes the Druid Hard to Ignore

Druids are riding a wave of hype heading into Season 10, thanks to the combination of new Unique items and the Chaos Armor mechanic. Together, they open the door for one of the most promising builds yet: the Companion Druid.

The centerpiece of buy Diablo IV gold this build is the Kilt of Blackwing, a new Unique that revitalizes the Druid's Raven companions.
