Sara Schwartz, MBA, MA, LPC, NCC, CAADC, NPT-C, has been a mental health counselor for four years, working in community mental health and private practice. In her agency roles, Sara served as an assertive community treatment (ACT) therapist as well as a home-based therapist, meeting vulnerable children and adults at home, in schools, and even in the streets of Detroit, ensuring they received the care and resources needed to avoid hospital stays and incarceration while thriving in independent living and foster care placements.
