On the unknown continent covered in ice and snow, new stories and adventures await every brave departure.
On February 5th, Wuthering Waves Version 3.1 "For You Who Walk In Snow" was officially launched, bringing players a brand-new snow-covered region — Roya Frostlands. This update is not only an expansion of the map but also an all-round enhancement of the gaming experience: new 5-star characters Aemeath and Luuk Herssen join the battle, the main storyline progresses to New Main Quest Chapter III Act III "The Star That Voyages Far", and the Research Motorcycle's newly added Glacier Track Ability makes exploring the ice field more free than ever before.

First Exploration of the Snowfield: Version Highlights
The brand-new region of Roya Frostlands offers players a fresh exploration experience with its unique icy and snowy landforms and immersive environmental interactions.
The deep and shallow footprints left while walking on the snow and the ice crystal particles drifting in the wind enhance the realism of this world in detail.
The new version introduces various exploration and puzzle-solving gameplay mechanics such as "Module Adapter", "Voidmatter Forcefield", and "Soliskin Guide". These mechanisms not only enrich the game content but also cleverly integrate puzzle-solving with scene narrative.
When I used the "Added Glacier Track" function to drive the Research Motorcycle across the frozen lake, the sense of speed and freedom of breaking through the ice truly added a new dimension to open-world exploration.

In-Depth Character Introduction: Mecha Beauties
The two 5-star characters updated this time each have their own characteristics. Aemeath in the first half of the banner is a Fire-element Swift Blade character, whose combat style is swift and gorgeous. The flame trails in her skill effects stand out particularly against the ice field background.
Personally, I believe Aemeath is especially suitable for players who enjoy fast combos and Elemental Reactions, as she has good compatibility with existing Fire-element teams.
Luuk Herssen in the second half of the banner is a Light-element Gauntlet character, with a more steady and powerful attack method. His skill set performs exceptionally well against groups of enemies, and his area damage and control abilities are very practical in both exploration and Abyss Challenges.
For players with limited resources, my suggestion is to choose based on your existing team composition. If you lack a powerful Fire-element main DPS, Aemeath is a good choice; if you need a Light-element character or more comprehensive battlefield control, Luuk Herssen is worth waiting for.
To obtain Aemeath, I quickly replenished Stellars through COCODP. This direct recharge method is indeed convenient for acquiring desired characters, avoiding tedious processes.

Welfare Activities: Free Stellars to Claim
During the version period, players can accumulate 1600 Stellars and an exclusive avatar through in-game mail. For players who want to summon new characters or weapons, this is a considerable amount of resources.
The version activities are also rich and diverse: "Where Stars Cascade Down" combines theme-based gameplay with decoration, creating a personalized spatial experience.
"Full Throttle! Bolt & Blitz!" makes full use of the Research Motorcycle's new functions, offering a series of exciting racing challenges. These activities not only have diverse gameplay but also quite generous rewards.
To maximize the use of these welfare benefits, it is important to plan resources in advance. Especially the 1600 Stellars login reward, reasonable allocation can greatly improve the efficiency of character acquisition.
If you hope to accumulate resources quickly, you can consider replenishing Stellars through COCODP to participate in activities and summon characters more flexibly.

With the newly added functions, the Research Motorcycle can already glide gracefully across frozen lakes. Those Wanderers still on the fence, don't hesitate — hurry up and set foot on this snow-covered continent waiting to be explored!
